Sports, culture, arts, food, music... Traction Engine rallies, Country Fairs, sporting events...there are all kinds of social highlights you can visit with your tent, caravan or motorhome. From September, the kids are heading back to school and it’s often a time that campsites revert to a more tranquil state. That’s not to say there’s still not plenty going on.
*Hull Freedom Festival (www.freedomfestival.co.uk). Hull is the UK home of caravan manufacturing, after all. The Festival takes place at the start of September.
*Or how about the Narberth Food Festival (www.narberthfoodfestival.com) in Pembrokeshire, September 26-27?
*The Caravan Club National Rally and Camping and Caravanning Club National Feast of Lanterns events... both clubs also host local rallies throughout the year, but these are their annual highlights.
