Servicing
When looking after your leisure vehicle, you want to know it’s being serviced by trained and experienced professionals. Therefore, it’s recommended that you always use an Approved Workshop to service your touring caravan or motorhome.
Equipment like cookers, heaters, fridges and electrical installations mains and battery all need regular safety checks. Most manufacturers' equipment warranties remain valid only if you have an annual service, so it's important that you keep our service book up to date.
On completion of a service, an Approved Workshop will provide you with a service checklist that itemises all the points checked and will include advice and information on any work that need to be carried out and updates on the condition of items such as tyres.
AWS members will only carry out extra work or replace parts if they are safety related or with your specific permission, but always agree with your workshop how to deal with extra identified works.
